The accu set is about $20.00 overpriced. It is always handy to have rechargeable batteries, but the accu power block is very heavy and it takes 4 HOURS to charge. If you do get it, (which I would recomend) charge it while you are building the model you are working on and as soon as you are done building it recharge the battery for a 1/2 - 1 hour (to always keep it ready), this way you don't ever have to charge it for the full 4 hours.
